We're all set here in Hakuba. Felt the quake and aftershock on the mountain this afternoon, but had no idea how bad it was until we returned to the lodge and saw the news. Seems like Hakuba is alright, but, sadly, that's certainly not the case in other parts of Japan.
Glad to hear that Greg. You and Tom were the first thing Arthur and I thought about when we woke up to the news.
ReplyDeleteNancy just woke me to the news and this is the first place I looked. Thanks for posting. Apparently there's a major tsunami watch here in San Francisco. Keep us posted. Love you both.
ReplyDeletewhew! nora (and us) are very glad that "tom, greg and ryan/bryan" are okay (we know ryan/bryan already went home....)
ReplyDeleteThe major tsunami watch is a 3-foot wave. Scientists need to start tracking Tom Duggan's movements around the world to measure the correlation between his visits and major seismic activity.
ReplyDeleteThanks for posting that you're OK--first thing I checked when I saw the news...and glad you had pow yesterday. I'm actually attempting to ski in the rain here.
